Doug was born in Edmonton, Alberta on May 07, 1968. He is much loved and will always be remembered by friends and family. They say suicide is not chosen. Suicide exists when pain exceeds resources for coping with pain. Doug, our son, brother and dear friend, found himself in a place where his pain was more than he could bear, and he died by his own hand on November 11th, 2010. Doug, we may never fully grasp your pain and the why of what happened, but you will always have a place in our hearts. In our pictures, our memories and our stories, this is our tribute to you.
